I’ve only been in a few blizzards, but last night was fantastic! Snow was blowing every which way, circling around the house… When I looked outside I found my precipitation gauge was almost buried in snow!
Here’s what it looked like this morning! Do you see that little bump in the snow out there? That’s it! We got around a foot of snow!
And the best part? The sun came out this morning to let us know we have not been totally abandoned out here.
This is my idea of a GREAT holiday gift! We’re doing WHITE FRIDAY at our house today, with nothing to do but decorate for the holidays!

I totally love snow and you just made my day with these pictures. Snow is so beautiful, unless you have to go out into it. Here’s hoping I get a mess of whiteness this year! Thanks for sharing you pics!

Beautiful! Admittedly, I like seeing it in photos rather than in real life, but the forced slow down is a lovely respite from the busyness of the season.

Gorgeous photos! We’ve only had one small snowfall here following by a streak of warm weather, so it’s all gone now. I’m sure there’s more to come, though

Nothing better than seeing someone else get snow. It’s beautiful from afar, says this person who lives about an hour south of the New York State snowbelt. Thank you for sharing this beauty with us.
