When I woke up this morning it was chilly and rainy outside. Then I looked out east and boom! what an amazing sunrise!

But even the nicest places on earth can be ruined if you aren’t getting along with your significant other. That’s why it’s so important to manage your ‘closeness’ so you can both be happy in retirement!

Writer Meryl Baer says, there are all sorts of reasons people love the place they live. She enjoys her current hometown because of the ease of walking and cycling around town. In this week’s post, she lists the Ten reasons I love my walkable community.

  1. I am so intrigued by your story. (Also great blog name!) I think what you are doing is amazing, brave and well… just awesome. As I write this as I sit in a cubicle of 4 (semi) walls which makes me feel literally like a rat in a maze. It makes me feel inspired to know that there are people bold enough to live out their dreams. Enjoy your beautiful views you earned them!

    • Actually, I feel certain you are “bold enough to live out YOUR dreams.” What are your dreams? Decide today, because I know for certain that what you focus on grows…Write them down and get to work. Anything is possible if you believe in yourself and your dreams! I was completely miserable in 2004 when I lost my shitty job at the library, but I sat down and figured out my priorities. It’s a slow process, but it is possible to change yourself and your life. You might benefit from looking at my books!
